The purpose: knowing the parameters a, b, c

Exercise: Here are three windows which fit the parameters a, b, c of the square function.

first window for a

second window for b

third  window for c

Choose the parameters from the example y=2x2+13x+15 and click to get the drawing.

After getting the drawing change each time the value of another parameter .

Change each parameter at least twice, once to a negative value and once to zero.

Note the variations of the graph ( The rate of the function, the position of the function

relatively to x-axis, increasing the crossing points with y-axis, maximum, minimum )

Comment: you may change the parameters as many times as you wish.

N.B.- Pay attention - one square on the x-axis is equal to one unit

one square on the y-axis is equal to ten units
